Job Description

Are you looking for a new manufacturing position with the opportunity for growth? Hamilton-Ryker in Georgetown has partnered with an automotive supplier manufacturing facility in Georgetown.



As a Water Blasting associate you will be responsible for participant in lockout/tag out and operating high pressure (up to 40, 0000 psi) water blasting, pipe lancing and/or mowing equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, blasting of vehicle dollies, skids, and/or carriers; grate blasting, lacing pipes and tubes; pressure washing structural steel and tanks. Blasting candidate will go through extensive equipment and use training prior to blasting. .   Position is on 9 and 10 hours shifts. Pay is $11.00




        
  • 5 PM - 2:00 AM and 6 AM – 4:30 pm  Saturdays and Sundays



Water Blasting is responsible but not limited to the following duties:




        
  • Must be able to safety work in a high paced industrial environment.

  •     
  • Must have a general understating of industrial safety practices: perform equipment inspections: be mechanically inclined. 




        
  • Previous industrial experience is preferred







Job Requirements




        
  • Must wear metatarsal boots, rain suit, PPE, shin guards, hard hat, safety glasses, face shield, chemical gloves.

  •     
  • Must be able to work weekends  

  •     
  • Meet all physical requirements

  •     
  • Be at least 18 years old

  •     
  • Comply with substance abuse policy.
