A manufacturing company located in Bastrop, TX is currently seeking an Office Assistant to join their team!

This employee is responsible for performing general clerical and receptionist duties; preparing basic report/letters; maintaining computerized files; mailing out product literature and promotional materials. Also, all aspects of planning, coordinating and executing activities related to tradeshow and special events; coordinating design and setup of display panels and demos and other related tasks as required.



Duties:




        
  • Prepares and types moderately complex letters/reports utilizing personal computer.

  •     
  • Prepares spreadsheets and reports for the sales and marketing department.

  •     
  • Receives and directs telephone inquires and/or takes messages.

  •     
  • Responds to general questions or complaints from customers or other employees.

  •     
  • Generates and maintains sales lead program.

  •     
  • Backup to order entry.

  •     
  • Maintains and orders inventory of product literature and promotional materials.

  •     
  • Receives, opens and distributes incoming mail.

  •     
  • Performs general clerical support tasks, such as copying, updating and maintaining files, faxing, etc. Maintains electronic and hard copy filing systems.

  •     
  • Assists Marketing supervisor with trade show management.

  •     
  • Plans, coordinates, orders and schedules work to ensure timely delivery of promotional products and advertising and marketing literature.

  •     
  • Performs related duties as assigned.



Pay rate: $13/hour



Work Schedule: Mon-Fri/8am-5pm
