Job Description

Are you mechanically inclined?

Hamilton-Ryker is seeking mechanically inclined candidates for an exciting, potential temp-to-hire production position at a company that’s been in our area over 30 years in the Southeast part of Frankfort. Qualified associates will be working in various departments within the fast-paced production facility.

Positions could include: operating machines, quality inspection, lifting of raw or finished product or other duties as assigned, operating and troubleshooting production line machinery and computers, completing necessary logs May perform minor repairs as necessary. All positions require repetitive heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping and standing from 8-12 hours depending on shift and overtime.

8-hour shifts available:

  • 2nd shift: Monday – Friday 4pm - 12:30am $13/hour
  • 3rd shift: Monday - Friday 12am - 8:30am $12/hour

12-hours shifts available:

  • Rotating schedule 8am - 8:30pm $11/hour
  • Rotating schedule 8:00pm - 8:30am $12/hour

Training on dayshift (8am – 4:30pm) when applicable will be paid at $11/hour.

Pay will increase considerably once hired on permanently.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to work overtime which can be mandatory; may include Saturdays
  • Prefer one year of recent manufacturing experience
  • Possess a high level of mechanical aptitude
  • Lifting of up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout shift
  • Ability to comply with safety standards and wear required PPE at all times
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to perform all physical motions in an industrial steel manufacturing environment
  • Preferred ability to read tape measure, gauges, and calipers/micrometers.
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Comply with substance abuse policy.
